The Humboldt Browncoats is a group of devoted fans of the science fiction television series Firefly and the film Serenity.

We meet and socialize and partake of such activities as:
   Throwing Shindigs such as Can't Stop the Serenity
   Watching episodes of Firefly 
   Eating Chinese food
   Drinking Mudder's Milk, a concoction from the 25th century which bears a striking
    resemblance to 21st century beer
  Watching more episodes of Firefly
  Learning to curse in Chinese
  Playing the Firefly board game.
  Exploring filk (fan-based music and stories)
  Watching missing scenes, bloopers and documentaries about Firefly
